Each Smencil is created by tightly rolling sheets of newspaper around #2 graphite writing cores, forming pencils of standard thickness. These pencils are then hardened, allowing them to be sharpened just like traditional wood pencils. Afterward, they are infused with our special liquid scents, dried, and finished with erasers and graphics indicating the unique scent in each Smencil.
